JULY WORKSHOP RECAP
Thank you, again to Red Hat and Novell/SUSE for taking part in our Linux workshop that we put on at the PCATT facility. The turn out was great. We had over 60 attendees! The course covered hands on installation and configuration of the two Linux flavors - Red Hat and SUSE. Both RH and Novell sent top notch instructors from HQ to come over to teach the crash course, and we have PCATT to thank for providing us with the use of their facility.

UPCOMING AUGUST LUNCHEON
We'll be hosting a panel discussion on State and Federal Compliance Issues relating to IT Management. The guest panelists will include Rick Spuller - CIO of Hawaii Electric Company, Kevin Costa - IT Manager for AIG Hawaii, and Mike Okumura - IT Manager at First Hawaiian Bank. It should be a full house.

UPCOMING SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP
We'll be hosting a Storage Networking workshop on the morning of September 13th. We'll be inviting Hewlett Packard to provide a hands-on tutorial on how to install and configure an EVA (Enterprise Virtual Array). The topic for the luncheon presentation will be "A Case for an EVA Solution" and will be given by Tim Stelzner, Executive Director for the HP EVA business unit.
