Minimum Requirement: Master's Degree in Distance Learning, Educational technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Communications/Multi-Media, telecommunications or closely related field. In lieu of a Master's, Bachelor's with five or more years of directly related experience.

AND

Demonstrated competence in Windows and Mac operating systems and core MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint) and Adobe Creative Suite applications (Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat). Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in distance learning theories, instructional design models, instructional strategies, educational technology and curriculum development using online and Web-based applications (e.g. HTML, Web 2.0, Mobile development, etc.). Experience with administration of learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Pearson, Sakai, Moodle). Background in educational instruction, including curriculum development and facilitation of distance learning courses. Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching and training in distance learning and/or instructional technology. Demonstrated project management experience. Demonstrated graphic design skills and ability to develop and produce online resources in support of education. Demonstrated and/or skill in organizational competencies of accountability, change effectiveness, collaboration and teamwork, communication, Hawaiian cultural commitment and innovation. Experience designing culturally appropriate materials for a variety of age groups with diverse learning and teaching styles. Familiarity with social media. Work flexible hours as necessary. Valid driver's license.
